How You Can Help

The global AIDS epidemic is one of the greatest threats to human health

It has been estimated that over 2.5 million people have died of AIDS since it was first recognised in 1981.

You can help by supporting CHIVA Africa.

How to donate

We are pleased to say that our charitable status has now been approved and we shall be receiving our charity registration number by the end of November. Please see our donations page which provides further information on how you can donate to CHIVA Africa.

How to get involved

In Africa

We send teams of specialist doctors, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists and psychologists to South Africa for a minimum of one week every six months. This is a sustainable working model which is realistic for NHS professionals.

In the UK

We are currently finalising a comprehensive, practical training package relevant to resource-limited settings. This is part of our sustainable strategy and will enable further trainers to train colleagues.
