Teach healthcare professionals to care for children with HIV and their families
Objectives
- Teaching
- To provide practical and technical support for all members of the multidisciplinary team
- To produce relevant, comprehensive, practical teaching resources
- Partnering
- To work closely with the provincial Department of Health to assist with national strategies regarding paediatric health care delivery
- To reach key staff at all ARV accredited provincial hospitals on a regular basis
- To reach key staff working at primary health care clinics, care homes, schools and NGOs
- Replicating
- To expand programme across South Africa
